Discovery Gardens Early Childhood Center

Welcomes preschoolers 2.5 to 5 years of age who love to have fun and learn new things, no matter what their ability level. Offering a developmentally appropriate preschool, along with the full range of special needs services for exceptional children, Discovery Gardens is a warm and nurturing place where each child develops intellectual, physical, self help, social-emotional, and language skills according to individual readiness.

Discovery Gardens facility features colorful classrooms as well as a safe, age appropriate playground with a shade structure. We also have an inside play area that can be used to help children develop fine and gross motor skills.

Discovery Gardens is staffed with experienced teachers who are certified by the state of Arizona and hold Masters degrees in various fields of education. It is crucial to have teachers who understand how individual children develop and learn.

Discovery Gardens Early Childhood Center offers a variety of services to preschoolers, ages 2.5 to 5 years:

*Developmentally Appropriate preschool classrooms *Early Intervention services for children with developmental delays *First Things First Scholarships *DES Approved

The preschool program is Arizona Department of Health Services licensed. We follow developmentally appropriate practices and the curriculum is aligned with the Arizona State Standards for Early Childhood Education.

The teachers are certified by the Department of Education in the areas of Elementary Education, Special Education and Early Childhood Education. They continue to receive professional training and updates in the most current early childhood practices.
