EduCare provides an exciting new approach that takes all facets of a child’s well-being into consideration via a variety of modalities as part of the EduLearning Curriculum. A central theme to EduCare’s ideology is “family engagement.” This is a crucial element to consider, most especially, since EduCare provides a fresh alternative aimed at stimulating each child’s growth and development in a healthy and natural manner. This is achieved in many ways. EduCare offers a variety of week-end events for the entire family, ranging from family-oriented classes (such as, time management, stress management, behavior modification, family nutrition, family budgeting, life coaching and many other topics and let’s not forget family EduDance, too!) to health fairs (which provide an opportunity for families to learn more about the healthcare professionals in the area). Additionally, EduCare offers family fun events with food, music, games and other entertainment. EduCare strives to create its own sense of community, while also serving as a liaison between the families and the community at large. EduCare also sponsors various charitable and community events.

Born of my love for children and an understanding of their developmental needs, came my quest to create and develop an innovative environment for children to grow, learn and thrive in. And let’s not forget, that they also need to just have fun, too! As we nurture our children in a manner that takes full consideration of their emotional, physical, neurological, intellectual and behavioral needs, we are shaping not only their lives, but the future of society, as well.

My original concept is to create a free-style environment with a home-like setting, which will allow for a wider range of experiences. In traditional “school” day care centers, children are, for the greater part of the day, confined to one classroom while seated at tables & chairs. Children spend up to 12-14 hours per day in such centers during their first 5-6 years of life. This is the most significant stage of human development. They need & deserve more than this sedentary, institutionalized format!

Learning: The Education Concept of EduCare

Children learn best through play (NAEYC, 2009). Our two-prong system of learning and fun is designed to stimulate learning to promote growth. Our children get a sneak preview of the skills and predispositions to help them to successfully transition into their teens and get a head start on the foundations of reading, writing, mathematics, communication and other very important life skills. Our teachers combine proven and progressive methods to give your child a chance to learn in the way they feel most comfortable. We know that all children learn differently and integrate structure and fun in an effort to give children the best possible chance at academic and social/emotional success.
Laughing: Fun Activities for Developing Minds
Children also need leisure time. Our day care program offers numerous activities to engage your child. Our highly trained staff plans and implements activities based on children’s interests. Various experiences include our indoor/outdoor playroom, hands-on sculptures, and delicious yet nutritious snacks will no doubt captivate your child. We strive to provide games and activities that stimulate the brain along with the rest of the senses. They are the perfect seeds for a childs fertile and curious imagination.
Living: The Benefit of an EduCare Education

Time spent at EduCare prepares your child for future education and social interaction in ways other day care programs can not even begin to offer. The best way to turn out exceptional people is to start at the beginning! The habits and attitudes your child forms during this time can have a lasting impact. That is why in addition to formal education, we help your child to cultivate socialization skills, develop and maintain relationships, communicate effectively, and understand their emotions. Learning does not stop in the classroom. Through our integration of learning, leisure and life lessons, we are ready to promise the best possible start.
