Nixa Early Learning Center

The vision of the Early Learning Center is to creatively foster an environment where children are motivated and encouraged through discovery and, while nurturing children and their families, promote life-long learning skills.
XLT provides a safe, caring, and nurturing environment for youth during non-school hours by expanding and enriching the opportunities for learning, social development and recreation. XLT staff are facilitators of positive development through the process of activities, games, spontaneous play and one-on-one interactions. The program integrates a balance of child-centered activities, homework assistance and enrichment programming combined with choices for free time. By allowing children options and the ability to make a choice, responsibility and and atmosphere of respect is formed for children, youth, parents, guardians, teachers, schools and our community.
