All Star Learning Center is a nurturing learning environment where you and your child feel safe and secure. Our first priority is to be more than just a daycare — from every aspect of our classrooms to each of our three different playgrounds, we ensure children and parents feel safe, confident and happy, while in our care.
Our supportive learning environment is an academic based program where children learn from our highly skilled teachers using practices in early childhood education. We hold a high bar for our teachers who have earned degrees in Early Childhood Education (or similar), or are in the process of completion. Through themed unit lessons, we meet target areas of development, including Language, Cognitive, Sensory, Imaginative, Problem Solving and Social Development, in a fun and exciting manner. At All Star Learning Center, we have earned our motto: “Where learning together is fun!”.
Learning can’t be anything but fun, naturally interesting and inspiring, when you look at each classroom set-up. Opportunities for each area of development are enriched through various activities: dramatic play, quiet book nooks, and art. Activities are also taught in science and nature, music and rhythm, and sand and water.
We participate in the Healthy FUNdamentals Program to ensure each child receives a healthy breakfast, lunch and snack, and has an opportunity to exercise in fun and play throughout the day. Our facility meets the highest state standards while providing clean, bright, open and safe learning and play areas.

Our Standards at All Star Learning Center are to be above and beyond a “daycare”. Our learning environment is an academic based program where we make learning fun, inspiring, dynamic and interesting for each and every child.
We have an Open Door Policy which means that Parents are welcome at any time. Feel free to drop by or call, we welcome communications and are happy to see parents involved in our activities.
We are proud to have partnered with Stanly County’s Healthy FUNdamental Program, operated by Stanly Regional Medical Center. This program bolsters the foundation of our dedication to provide each child a nutritious, balanced and healthy breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack. The primary goal of the Healthy FUNdamental Program is “to motivate children, their families and their caregivers to achieve healthy lifestyle practices that will last a lifetime.” For more information please visit: www.stanly.org/healthFUNdamentals.aspx. Our menu for each week is posted on the bulletin board at the front entrance.
Our Center has 3 very large separated playgrounds with extensive, varied and age appropriate fixed play equipment. A total minimum of 30 minutes of active play is provided to all children each day. Portable play equipment that stimulates growth motor skills is also available for the children to play with. If the weather isn’t suitable for outdoor outdoor play, indoor play space is well suited for whole body activities. Our teachers are trained to model physical activity and demonstrate to children that being active is fun and enjoyable.
Quiet time is as important as active play to the well being of each child. This designated quiet time is directly dependent upon the age of the child and ensures the continued enjoyment of the structured variety of our active days and general well being of the child. Each child rests on their own special naptime-cot and not on the floor. Children are welcome to bring a “snuggle Friend” (small stuffed animal or doll) and small blanket for quiet time and will be returned once a week for designated wash day.
