At The Teaching Tree our education goal is simpleto help children grow intellectually and emotionally while having a lot of purposeful fun along the way. Our unique early childhood education programs are designed to match each child’s developmental level. Our classroom equipment is industry tested and carefully chosen for age appropriateness.

In The Teaching Tree’s infant program we understand that infants are unique and have their own patterns for play feeding and sleeping. We use these patterns as a guide to introduce daily activities that will prepare your infant for life. Our trained and loving staff offer a nurturing and creative environment for infants to develop their bodies and their minds. We are committed to making the first transition away from home as pleasant experience for your infant and for your family.

In The Teaching Tree’s toddler program toddlers learn through sensory experiences that enhance their cognitive language motor and social skills. We have a balance of nurturing playtime and learning throughout the day and a development of confidence self esteem and a love for learning. All our toddlers will be encouraged to develop their own unique skills and interests.

The Teaching Trees two-year-olds program focuses on constantly listening to and talking with children. We hold them rock them and encourage their social emotional and language development. We surround them with age-appropriate toys and tools to encourage exploration and discovery and enhance their overall development. We provide every opportunity possible for your child to develop his or her own interests at his or her own pace each designed for special purposes and experiences so necessary for toddler growth and development.

The Teaching Tree will have a multi-aged preschool classroom. In this classroom your child will enjoy activities including Music & Movement circle time and the teachers will have a structured pre-school curriculum. Children also like to talk about things that are important to them such as upcoming events birthdays and holidays. Free choice is designed to give the child a sense of control and to learn to make their own decisions

The Teaching Trees kindergarten program is designed to prepare your child for his or her upcoming years in elementary education. We offer the basics on which to grow in their early years of school. We will encourage the growing interest in paper pencil letters numbers and word recognition in a fun and learning environment. The Teaching Tree’s school age program is designed to provide enrichment activities and material in an environment that meets the needs of children before and after school. Our staff of great teachers help school-agers handle and express their feelings in a positive manner.
