Minerva Area YMCA Childcare

The staff of our YMCA sincerely cares about our community and its needs. Our goal is to provide programs classes and facilities that will assist you in attaining your goals whether in fitness child care youth sports teen activities or older adult programs.

In all our offerings we strive to include the six Character Counts values: Trustworthiness Respect Responsibility Fairness Caring and Citizenship as we work to reinforce these strong attributes.

To help us continue to provide the services we do especially in this economy we work to increase our donations to Our Strong Kids Campaign each year. Through outright donations and our yearly auction we are able to keep our promise that no one is turned away due to the inability to pay. Your donation is tax deductible and allows us to provide for those facing financial challenges.

Volunteers are the heart of every YMCA. Coaching YMCA sports teaching classes being a child care partner or assisting with the many special events that we have throughout the year – all these help you give back to your community. Please contact us if you are interested in being a volunteer for us.
