A Children's Place

Located on the Merck campus in midtown Memphis, A Children’s Place (ACP)has been recognized as a leader in early childhood education since the center opened in 1993. Available to both Merck and community families, our 82-child capacity center offers comfortable, nurturing, home-like environments where children establish a foundation for a lifetime of learning.

First accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) in 1994, the center is proud to have achieved accreditation four times, most recently in 2008. ACP is also proud of its “3-Star” status as certified by the Tennessee Department of Human Services, consistently receiving the highest rating in the state star quality program.
