Welcome to Temple Adath Israel Preschool early childhood program. We have been in existence for 25 years, and we provide a small, nurturing, family environment. It is the philosophy of Temple Adath Israel Preschool that young children should have a warm, happy, safe and stimulating learning environment outside the home where they can experience security, discovery, accomplishment and a positive sense of self. Our philosophy espouses the belief that every child should feel good about him/herself at the end of each class day.

It is the philosophy of Temple Adath (TAI)
Preschool that young children should have a warm, safe,
and stimulating learning environment outside the home
where they can experience security, discovery,
accomplishment and a positive sense of self. This
atmosphere encourages social, emotional, intellectual,
physical, and creative growth of the whole child. Our
philosophy espouses the belief that every child should
feel good about himself/herself at the end of each class
day.
The classrooms are set up in centers: art, library,
sand and water table, science/discovery and home living.
Our playground includes an activity structure and
red barn. There is ample room in this fenced area to run
and play games.
The curriculum is traditional in that we have circle
time, arts and crafts, music, and story time during the
day. As an extension of Temple Adath Israel, TAI
Preschool offers, in addition to a secular curriculum, a
Jewish education which focuses upon the cycle of Jewish
holidays and the weekly celebration of Shabbat. We
welcome students from a variety of cultural and religious
backgrounds. Our families are encouraged to share their
ethnic heritage through classroom enrichment
experiences. However, we neither teach nor observe the
holidays of religions other than Judaism. Temple Adath
Israel Preschool strives to make all of our students both
comfortable and knowledgeable about Judaism as a
valued part of the cultural and religious diversity in
America.
