The Learning Tree for Children, LLC uses the Creative Curriculum that covers ages birth-preschool. The Creative Curriculum focuses on four developmental areas: Social/Emotional Development, Physical Development, Cognitive Development, and Language Development. When a child begins our program the parent/teacher will set goals to be covered for the following 4 months. There are 3 checkpoints throughout the year, where throughout that time the child(ren) teacher will be observing them to see what level they meet in the 4 developmental areas. At the end of each checkpoint parent/teacher conferences are scheduled to discuss the child(ren) progress for those last 4 months. During this time new goals will be set.

We believe that the infant-preschool years are the most important years of a childs life. We have come to understand the importance of high quality and educational opportunities for young children. It is our goal to provide the safest and most educational environment for your children.
The curriculum that we have chosen to utilize is The Creative Curriculum. The reason we chose this specific curriculum was because it allows for each child to learn and grow at their own pace, yet in a structured and educational environment.
We also believe that early childhood education is a partnership between the family and their children’s educational facility. Parental support and input are very important to the staff of The Learning Tree for Children. We invite parents to review lesson plans and make suggestions that will enhance their child’s education. We also encourage parents to participate in their child’s classroom by volunteering for numerous activities throughout the year. The Learning Tree for Children has an open door policy and encourages families to come into the facility at any time and monitor their child(ren) with their teacher. The Learning Tree for Children takes pride in their staff and is proud to say that over half of its employees are furthering their education in the child development field.
