Hand In Hand Childrens Center

You will find Hand In Hand Childrens Center to be warm and inviting. Our center has that home away from home feeling. We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our facility. Our classrooms are furnished with age appropriate toys, equipment and furniture. Our center has an open floor plan with each classroom having a designated area.

Our infant and toddler areas are separate from the older children to promote both safety and to provide the healthiest environment possible. Older children are not permitted into the infant and toddler classrooms.

We take your childs safety and security seriously. The building has a monitored fire and safety system along with a security entrance into our facility. Additionally, each classroom has a secured emergency exit. Fire and tornado drills are done routinely.

We are proudly licensed by the State of Missouri. We are also regulated and inspected by the City of Independence, Missouri. State and City inspections are done both scheduled and unannounced throughout the year. We are inspected for health and sanitation, records compliance, teacher background screenings and ongoing training, food handlers, childrens immunizations and records, and for fire safety. We have worked hard to establish a positive relationship with both the State of Missouri and the City of Independence. Our inspection reports are posted in the center at all times for parents to review.

Parents may feel free to visit the center at any time. You will find that our staff enjoys getting to know you as well as your child! It is our goal to ensure each family is made to feel welcome into our Hand In Hand family.

Please stop by at your convenience to tour our facility. Tours can also be made by appointment if preferred.

Your child will experience a structured day with emphasis both on social and academic development with our Kindergarten readiness curriculum.
