Frazier Elementary Preschool

We believe that students at Frazier School are individuals of great worth and are entitled to mature to their utmost capacity emotionally, intellectually, socially, and vocationally. Students should have respect for themselves and other human beings, and for the value of a democratic life. We also feel that education should lead to an enthusiasm for life and a love for learning and inquiry that will enable each student to meet successfully the challenges faced in a rapidly changing society. We believe that we must recognize and take into account social, economic and cultural differences. We feel that an effective school program is one that: Accepts each child and provides for individual differences; Believes all students can learn and reach acceptable standards designed for their needs and abilities; Improves students’ abilities to think rationally, to express thoughts clearly, and to read and listen with understanding; Links school life with life in the community so that school learning experiences make life outside school more meaningful and successful; Provides certified and classified personnel, facilities, equipment, materials and auxiliary services to meet the needs of our students; Provides in-service, professional training, leadership training and complete evaluation of all components of the program.
