Creative Beginnings Learning Center

Creative Beginnings recognizes that each child is unique with different needs, interests and abilities. Therefore, each child will be encouraged to grow emotionally, intellectually and socially at his or her own rate. Often you will hear the phrase, “Children learn through play,” but what exactly does that mean? We believe it means that they order their thought processes and reason through problems by working with the objects in their environment.

Our part to play in their development is the introduction of new materials and concepts that spark that chain of cognitive events. By providing a stimulating environment where their imaginations can soar and carefully designing individual and group play activities, we can foster growth in all areas of development. Through these activities and hands-on experiences, your child will gain independence, self confidence, problem-solving skills, social abilities, and a love of learning.

Beginning with a play-based program for those children three years old, we will concentrate on developing a greater sense of their independence and awareness of school as a place of learning with friends. Throughout the program we will progressively add more academic content. at the completion of the program, for those children four and five years old, we will incorporate into our curriculum the concepts and activities they will need to succeed in kindergarten.
