The EduCare Center provides an enriched curriculum to facilitate social growth, language development, large and small muscle development, and cognitive growth in math, science, music and art. It is based on developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) for your children. Children learn by enjoying hands-on activities and experiencing their environment. Daily Learning activities are planned, but teachers are allowed to pursue the child’s direction in the learning experience.
The center has been influenced by the world famous, Reggio Emilia schools in Italy. The use of project approach, child-centered and child-initiated exploration of learning as it emerges and discovering in what direction it should proceed, and the use of an aesthetically pleasing, enriched environment are all important aspects incorporated into the EduCare Center. Decisions revolve around the child’s best interest. It is family-friendly.
