Valley Center Preschool

Valley Center Preschool is licensed by California’s Department of Health and Social Services. Valley Center Preschool is a non-profit organization. Valley Center Preschool works in cooperation and harmony with the First Church of the Nazarene of Pasadena. It is a vital ministry of the church and has a shared facility agreement with the church.

Valley Center Preschool’s objective is to guide each child’s learning experiences by providing a stimulating curriculum of lasting value in the following areas:

Intellectually – Enthusiasm for learning is encouraged and discovery is practiced. Age-appropriate preschool academics are introduced and Kindergarten preparedness is emphasized.
Spiritually – Bible stories through Godly Play, songs, and prayers are learned. Children are encouraged to wonder and know God’s love.
Socially – Positive social skills are taught. Children are encouraged to participate in group activities.
Physically – Children play on equipment that is age-appropriate. The development of large and small muscle coordination is encouraged.
