The tradition continues. FoxTots is the newest preschool in town with the oldest history.
Yesterday FoxTots was known as Fox Nursery and Preschool, a Chelmsford institution founded by Elizabeth “Maude” Fox back in 1959.
Today more than fifty years later, FoxTots is owned and directed by Debbie Marino. Mrs. Marino has been an integral part of Fox Nursery & Preschool for the past twenty years. Now, as the FoxTots Director, Mrs. Marino looks forward to honoring the Fox legacy of providing quality early childhood education in Chelmsford.

At FoxTots, we encourage curiosity, confidence and self-direction from all our students. Imagination and creativity are fostered throughout our curriculum.
Children learn by doing. We provide plenty of hands-on activities every day. These activities include art, movement and song, cooking and fun science experiments.
We work closely with all of the children and encourage them to develop their newfound skills. Our focus is on number concepts, letter and word recognition, writing skills, shapes and colors just to name a few. We always follow up our lessons with meaningful and related crafts or activities.
At FoxTots, we also help develop and improve social skills. The classroom offers a great opportunity to learn and grow emotionally outside of the home setting. In our group setting, your child will learn socialization skills such as sharing, patience, generosity, respect and tolerance.
