Essex Elementary is one of five schools in Regional District No. 4. It is located in Centerbrook, a village of the town of Essex. We are a small community nestled along the base of the Connecticut River. Our community is rich in history and culture.

Essex is a supportive community that values the education of their children and the schools initiatives and programs. Essex Elementary is made up of a student population of approximately 530 students, Pre-K through Grade 6. The unique population that exists is supported through a variety of programs, with a highly qualified staff that is dedicated to meeting the needs of each individual student.
