Castle Pines Academy is proud to be the first locally owned and operated childcare center to provide early childhood education and quality child care in a loving and secure environment. We provide daily programs for children from 6 months up to 6 years old and we provide before and after school activities for children up to 12 years old. Our center offers 10 individual classrooms and a large shared central space allowing children the opportunity to experience special classes outside their own room. We open at 6:30 a.m. with quiet time and free play for children to gently adjust to arriving at school early. Children can rest, eat, or play. We finish our days at 6:00 p.m. and our teachers are always ready to discuss a child’s day with parents. One of our primary priorities is safety. This includes the safety of our children as well as our safety policies, and a safe and clean physical environment. This in turn provides the foundation for our staff to create a quality learning environment for every child to excel every day.
Our carefully designed curriculum facilitates learning with a play-based approach customized for each classroom. We view learning as a process that requires a balance between child-initiated and staff-initiated activities. These activities stimulate the Developmental Domains in each child every day. Our success is based on every child leaving our school feeling loved and having learned about him or her-self and the world around us.
