B.B.C.S. Duffield Children's Center

BCS Duffield Children’s Center has been a reliable resource for parents and children in Brooklyn for more than 20 years. Today we offer free and sliding-scale child care to low-income parents and provide educationally rich day care and after-school programs to more than 200 children ages 2 to 12. Duffield Children’s Center is:

• Accessible Open 7:30am – 7:00pm year round including most holidays
• Affordable ACS HRA UPK – Universal Prekindergarten Head Start and Private Pay available
• Convenient Metrotech/Fort Greene Location 101 Fleet Place (near LIU – Brooklyn campus)
• Inclusive Classrooms support Special Needs children and families. We help with referrals and accessing services
• Attractive Safe and Fun We offer a welcoming environment with an enclosed outdoor play space that is fully equipped
• Parent-minded We have an active and involved parent association
• Educational We utilize the nationally recognized Creative Curriculum and offer local cultural resources which include libraries theaters parks colleges and universities This facility is authorized to administer over-the-counter topical ointments only
