Green River Montessori School is owned by Diana Mamerto Holz. Diana is married to Ron Holz who both grew up and went to school in Auburn. In 1974, Diana operated a small child care program in their home so that she could care for their only child, Cheri. Over the years, and one child later (son Gary), the business grew and Green River Montessori School was established. Green River Montessori also operated a before and after school program in conjunction with the Auburn School District on-site at Hazelwood Elementary School for more than 20 years.
