Village Preschool has been in operation, at the same location, for over 50 years. We currently have several second generation students, preschoolers whose parents attended our school years before. Of course, some things have changed but many essentials to excellence in the education of young children remain.
t has always been our belief that the quality of any early childhood program is determined in large part by the quality of the staff. A school is only as good as the teacher in the classroom. Village Preschools greatest strength is the marvelous staff that works with the students. The teachers interest in the children, ability to relate effectively to the students as a group as well as individually, educational training, and years of experience make them truly exceptional. Only a visit to our classrooms will give you a true picture of the value of our teaching staff!
Village Preschool is licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. We follow the guidelines set by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The school is recommended by Arlington Heights Public School District 25 and many parents in the community.

Village Preschool is a developmental preschool geared to encourage the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth of three- through six-year-old children. Each child has an individual developmental timetable. Village Preschool provides many varied experiences and opportunities so children may flourish within their own timetable. Through the use of games, songs, records, stories, counting, etc., students are exposed to concepts of alphabet and numbers. Socialization, attention span extension, and gross and fine motor coordination are also important educational goals.
