I began babysitting for children when I was in about sixth grade (11 years old). I am currently available to babysit weekdays/nights and weekend jobs. I have two little brothers and have grown up in a neighborhood filled with little kids, creating lots of babysitting jobs for me. I have experience with all ages ranging from 4 months to 13 years old. Throughout high school, I had a learning with children class that taught me the stages of development for children, the students also had to make activities for the children who came in everyday. I took the Red Cross Babysitting course and got my certification. I also volunteered in after-school programs at Barrington Elementary as a “Big Sister,” working with children whose parents had to stay late at work.
