What to expect:
Toddlers- Preschoolers will participate in Pre-3 Fun thematic units for twelve months include centers for individual play and learning and circle time around the Big Red Barn for group learning. Activities encourage phonemic awareness through introduction and recognition of letters. Activities also include introductory math activities through number recognition, counting, sorting, and patterning. Manners and habit training is incorporated in Happy Habits suggestions and Heritage and science are addressed in fun hands-on discovery opportunities as well.

Pre-4 incorporates language arts, pre-reading, phonics, math, handwriting, social studies, and science segments and activities. Center ideas as well as music, art, and cooking are integrated into the lessons. Making Sounds Make Sense aids the teacher as letter-sounds are introduced. Step Write Up engages the children in group writing experiences. Eager Beavers presents teaching for the children who are ready to read. Music with Steve develops rhythm, coordination, and music awareness skills. We will experience art in different mediums and outside play with sand, water, and big muscle play; we will learn God’s Word and memorize scriptures. We will learn the importance of playing with others kindly. We will also have music daily with rhythm sticks, shakers, scarves, and more. Friday Fun days will include an educational DVD before lunch.
Your child may receive breakfast, lunch and two snacks, depending on your schedule.
