The purpose of SCCS is four-fold: to prepare children spiritually through a Biblecentered
curriculum; to prepare children to live successful Christian lives in the
workplace and at home; to offer an instructional program that meets the academic needs
of children; and to develop a sense of responsibility in each child as a citizen and as a
Christian. We strive to work in connection with the home and the Church so that a
students education will be consistent and well rounded.

The curriculum used in our school is designed to reinforce the above principles. Each
class uses a text that is Bible-based in principle and academically correct in content. The
teaching staff at SCCS is also committed to teaching the students Christian concepts and
academic knowledge so that they may be prepared for future service and education in any
field they are led into by the Holy Spirit. Observing this philosophy, we hope to abide by
Colossians 3:17, And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord
Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
