The Kansas City Autism Training Center (KcATC) is a private, licensed child care specializing in the treatment of autism spectrum disorders. KcATC uses Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to optimize learning environments for children with autism spectrum disorders.
Our goal is for children to achieve success and minimize failure through errorless learning procedures. KcATC uses behavior analytic methods to enhance learning and reduce maladaptive behaviors by replacing them with appropriate behavior. A board certified behavior analyst designs individualized curriculum programs to address the specific strengths and weaknesses in the areas of language and communication, fine and gross motor development, play and socialization, daily living, and academic skills of each child.
