Lakeland College Ambrose D Deland Child Care Center

The beautiful new Ambrose D. DeLand Child Care Center is located at W3723 Reineking Court on the Lakeland College campus. It is state licensed to care for children six weeks to nine years old. Hours are 6:45 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, year round, with a capacity for 42 children. Hours the center is open each day may vary, based on schedules of clients.

Our goal is to offer high quality service by having well-trained staff available at all times. To help ensure that this happens, please schedule the hours you will be using the center and notify the director and/or your child’s teacher of any changes.

The center is committed to providing a high-quality program for all children. Through developmentally-appropriate curriculum, children engage in play opportunities in which they express their independence, social skills, problem solving skills and an innate joy of activity. Our children are experience guided discovery opportunities that allow them to stretch their curiosity, experiment with alternatives and gain intellectual empowerment over their environment.
