The Early Learning Center at Baruch College provides childcare and education to children aged 2 to 5 years old. The children of Baruch students are accepted on a first come first serve basis as openings occur. Once children are admitted they have priority for the following semesters. The Center is licensed by the NYC Department of Health and is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The Center’s families reflect the rich diversity of Baruch.
The program emphasizes an atmosphere of exploration for children and recognizes the importance of relationships between children and the adults who care for them. We believe children learn through their play and that everyday experiences serve as springboards to readiness skills.
