Kristina Schmidt Forever Young Child Care Center

Owner, Kristina Schmidt, began Forever Young Child Care Center as a family day care on June 16, 1997. One August 31, 1998 due to high demand, Forever Young was taken to its current location as a small group center where it has thrived .

Our center prides itself on being owner operated and family based. Kristina"s husband joins her in teaching in the preschool classroom. “To us, these families are an extension of our own families. I enjoy working hands-on with the children, and wouldn’t have it any other way.”, states Kristina.

The staff at Forever Young is a modest 5 employees. Two teachers work in the nursery, one employee cooks in the morning and works with the preschool class in the afternoon, and Kristina and her husband make up the remaining. “Being a smaller center is the next best thing to family child care. Our facility has a home feeling, with a very nurturing and caring staff, and we are able to spend a lot of time with the children one-on-one.”

Forever Young offers care for children ages 6 weeks – 12 years. The nursery children have a schedule of various activities, while a full curriculum is planned for our preschool families. We offer before and after school care (however we are not able to transport), and summer care for school age children. Breakfast, lunch, and snack are provided meals.
