We are a private, non-profit school that provides a unique experience for children by combining high quality care with immersion in the French language. We offer small class sizes, diverse curricula, flexible scheduling, and the chance to start your child on the path to language learning and cultural awareness. Give your child the gift of language!
We accept toilet-trained children between the ages of 3 and 6 for our French-immersion preschool, pre-k, and kindergarten programs. We also offer a French-supported extended care program, available for our students and for elementary-aged students.

Our immersion program seeks to sharpen each childs intellectual abilities by using a second language as a medium of instruction, helping the children to develop their full potential. Each childs individuality and creativity is honored and encouraged, which helps each child develop positive self-esteem.
We maintain an environment in which positive reinforcement is provided and children are able to make choices. Respect for one another is at the core of our philosophy, and conflicts are resolved with redirection, communication, and mutual respect.
LFS is dedicated to small class sizes and personalized attention, basing the level of instruction on each childs interest and abilities. We are also passionate about forging connections between family, community, and environment. Together we can strive for increased global and cultural awareness.
