First Steps Child Development Center

Our company is licensed by “Bright from the Start” Early Child Care program. We believe that successful education starts with a stable and consistent learning environment. Our teachers are trained professionals that have passion in their hearts to educate children. The lessons are designed to allow children to explore the natures of reading, math, science and social studies with an emphasis on drama, art, music and dance. We believe that parents are an important aspect in childrens education and we encourage parents to work closely with teachers to promote academic excellence. at First Steps we also provide a safe and secure environment for both our children and staff.

First Steps Child Development Center uses the Pinnacle Curriculum. This curriculum is designed to engage children in developmentally appropriate activities that move them toward their potential in all areas of child development. In addition, this curriculum reflects the belief that children need a balance of child-initiated and teacher-facilitated activities each day. Themes are used to introduce information and learning takes place as children explore and manipulate real objects and events.
