Center in Appleton, WI 54915
Child’s Choice Learning Center uses a theme based curriculum that focuses on stages of socio-emotional development as well as physical development. The program helps children to develop a sense of trust, competence and a sense of initiative when used properly by caregivers. Children learn from their environment as well as from good role models.
Our center participates in integrating children with special needs into our program. Whether the special needs pertain to physical, emotional or cognitive delays, we will work with the parents as best as we can to make this an exciting place for their child to be.
The planning of our program is on a weekly schedule based on a particular theme for the week. Teachers plan lessons that are age appropriate for the children. All lesson plans are reviewed by the director and appropriate changes are made as necessary. The lessons are used to stimulate and enrich the children through our work areas, which we call “child choice areas”. The same work areas are used in our group/circle time activities.

“We want all children here at Child’s Choice Learning Center to enjoy each day they are here in our care. Our success at the end of the day is knowing that each child grew in some area, whether it be socially, emotionally, intellectually, physically or in spirit. For their parents, it should be peace of mind that the next day will bring them that same experience.”
