I have been caring for children since I was 12. I am the oldest of 4, and I have a daughter who’s turning 15 this week. I’m warm and fun, I love to be outdoors with children. I also try to make sure that many activities are learning-based ones. I believe it’s of crucial importance to open up the world around a child, and let them see all the wonder and beauty.
I have done just about every childcare based job one can do. Growing up in Westchester County, I was fortunate to find tons of babysitting jobs, I’ve been doing this for over 20 years!
I was a camp counselor, a nanny, a teacher’s assistant, and a stay at home mom, among other things.
I have done volunteer work as well, and worked to place stray cats in good homes.
My strong work ethic is evident from the fact I have held professional positions concurrent with my academic studies, as well as association with various academic honor societies. These experiences have enabled me to gain a realistic view of the demands and challenges of the business world. My qualifications for the position also include:

Assistant Director, Strangers Helping Strangers, an npo
Assistant coordinator, Community Cats animal care and rescue mission

It is through these and various other positions that I have cultivated a calm demeanor, a generous spirit and a kind and easygoing manner. I have a warm and friendly way about me that instantly makes others feel comfortable. I am positive I would be a wonderful asset to your family!
