Hi, Im Tyrena! I am an experienced and passionate nanny with a strong background in childcare. I have been a babysitter for 7 years now. Ive worked as a nanny for 3 years and spent 2 years in a licensed childcare center, which has given me a solid understanding of child development and effective caregiving. I am also currently pursuing a degree in childhood psychology to further enhance my skills and knowledge in the field. Additionally, I am CPR and First Aid certified to ensure your childs safety.

I believe in following Montessori teaching styles, as I value every childs individuality and aim to foster their independence and love for learning. Im a big fan of developmentally appropriate arts and crafts, and Ive created my own activity binders for different age ranges to ensure each child has engaging, educational experiences.

My approach includes fun outings like trips to the park, zoo, library, and educational classes such as swim, dance, and music, where I can support childrens growth in both structured and unstructured settings. I pride myself on being dependable, punctual, and patient, and I work hard to build deep connections not only with the children I care for but also with their families.

I also offer various services such as meal prepping, light housekeeping, transporting children (I have my own car), planning educational activities, administering medications if needed, shopping for childrens needs, and running errands. Above all, I prioritize communication, dependability, and honesty in every family I work with.

In my free time, I enjoy going on hikes, swimming, and biking. I also love dancinggrowing up, I dreamed of becoming a professional dancer, and as an adult, Ive made it a point to dive into dance. When it comes to reading, I enjoy all genres, but psychological thrillers are my favorite. My current favorite book is The Housemaid by Freida McFadden. I also love watching movies, and my favorites are Corrina, Corrina, Matilda and Uptown Girls. I have a passion for traveling and have set a goal to visit all 7 continents by the time Im 30. And of course, I enjoy baking in my spare time!
