I spend my week days, working as a Developmental Therapist with the Early Intervention population in Allegheny County. I provide services to my clients and their families in their homes as well as community settings, as we work on developmental outcomes including social skills, progression of speech and expressive language, managing behavior, etc. I have a BA in Early Childhood Education & Special Education, as well as my M.Ed. in Early Intervention Services with an Autism Specialization.

Aside from my current profession, I have also spent time working with children between 6 weeks and 6 years of age in a child care setting, as well as a one-on-one TSS for a child with Autism.

My experience working with children and other professionals in this field, has allowed me the opportunity to not only teach children, but also to learn alongside them. I enjoy interacting with them at their eye-level, allowing them opportunities to find answers to their own questions, and to explore their own imaginations. There is also something about a child’s giggle that is quite contagious :)
