Hi there! My name’s Carina Kaufman-Gutierrez, I’m 26 years old, and have been working in childcare both as a babysitter and an art camp counselor for over 10 years. I grew up teaching visual arts at Omi International Arts Center in the Childrens Education Program, and love to incorporate playful art activities while babysitting.

I graduated from Wesleyan University in 2012 with a B.A. in French Studies and Art History. I speak French fluently, and I’m proficient in Spanish. I have experience babysitting for children ages 6 months – 14 years old, picking kids up from school, bringing them to activities, coming up with our own activities, preparing dinner, helping with homework, and getting them into bed.

Most recently I’ve been working as a chef at Diner/Marlow & Sons, and as the Managing Director at Flux Factory, an artist residency in Long Island City. I’m currently working on applications to graduate programs in NYC, and am excited to get back into babysitting!!
