Hello, my name is Amy!

I live in Stoneham, MA but I am a junior nursing student at the University of Connecticut (Storrs, CT) during the academic year. I have a total of 6 years of experience babysitting children that have ranged from 1 month old to 12 years old. While babysitting, I have prepared meals and also cleaned around the house. As a babysitter/nanny, I enjoy playing outside and doing arts and crafts with kids.

My experience includes being a full time infant day care teacher at a Bright Horizons day care center. I was responsible for feeding, changing, putting the infants to sleep, playing, etc. To continue, my experience also includes being a volunteer camp counselor watching infants and toddlers for 7 summers. Also, I have previously worked as a party hostess for birthday parties for girls, ages 3 to 10 years old. As a party hostess, I engaged the children in activities such as nail painting, singing and dancing, and craft making. I have been a nanny, babysitter, soccer referee for young children and so much more! In the past, I have taken a course on early childhood development.

I am CPR/AED and First Aid certified at a healthcare professional level. As a nursing student, I do clinical work at hospitals and have extensive experience with patient care, illness prevention, emergency situations, etc.
