I am a former preschool teacher looking to work with children in a more personal setting. Working with and caring for children has been a interest of mine since I was very young. My mother says I refused to go to Sunday School and preferred working in the church nursery. As a teenager I babysat newborns, infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school-aged children. In my twenties, I nannied for boy and girl twin toddlers. I really loved helping them learn how to talk! I continue to enjoy working with a wide age range of children.
My philosophy regarding children is grounded in an education focused on developmentally appropriate practices that maximize children’s potential. Every child is unique and special. I also firmly believe that all children must feel safe and loved in their environment.
I am an animal lover and have had many dogs and cats in my life. Right now I have fish:)
I understand and speak some French and have experience with Spanish and German.
I have had State and Federal background checks to work in daycare . This includes medical approval and immunizations. I am certified in CPR and First Aid. I am state certified as an Infant/Toddler and Preschool teacher.

Additional services: Meal preparation, Laundry, Light housekeeping, Swimming supervision, Crafts, Potty training, and Travel with family.
