Hi there! My name is Amanda Role and I moving back to Massachusetts to start a graduate program in Mental Health Counseling and Art Therapy. In 2009, I completed a year of service with Americorps NCCC in Denver, Colorado. I am 25 years old and graduated from Wheaton College of Massachusetts, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Studio Art in 2009. For the past three years, I have been working at a non-profit organization called Joshua School in Englewood, Colorado. At TJS, I gained much experience mentoring and teacing individuals with autism, helping them grow as individuals through various types of educational and expressive therapies. I will be interning about three days a week in Englewood and I am currently looking for a nanny position as well. As I am originally from Massachusetts, I am looking to find a family in the Englewood/Denver area that can offer me room and board, in return for nannying their children during the week. I am moving back to the Somerville area in August and would love to be of assistance to a welcoming family in need during my off hours from graduate school.
