Hello there! My name is Emily Muldoon. I grew up in the Washington, DC area, which is definitely home to me :) I went to undergrad in Massachusetts, then worked at a nonprofit working with incarcerated teenagers in NYC for half a year, and then returned to DC, where I worked in refugee resettlement, supporting families of refugees, asylum-seekers and victims of trafficking, as they adjusted to life in the United States.

Currently, I am in graduate school in Boston, where I am studying clinical and macro social work, concentrating on trauma-informed care. My clinical field placement was in a high school re-entry program for adolescents, who were recently hospitalized for mental health-related reasons.

During my first year of school, I babysat for several different families in the Boston-area regularly (weekdays and weekends, both day and night). I have plenty of references, if requested! Before grad school, beginning my first year of high school, I nannied in the summers for children ranging from newborns to middle-schoolers.

In addition, throughout high school and summers during undergrad, I worked at nonprofit agency that offered day/night care for children and young adults with severe physical and intellectual disabilities.

I have a variety of experiences working with children of all ages! Because of COVID, I am back in DC this summer (living with my parents) and am available most days. I am in classes Tuesdays, but other than that, I am available. Please reach out if you are looking for a sitter or nanny! Peace :)
