Ever since I was a young child, I have wanted to be a teacher. My name is Jena Sagendorf and I am currently enrolled in college as an Elementary Education major, with a specialization in math. I love working with children and I love helping others. Additionally, I have many qualifications that make me a good fit and have a lot of hands-on experience.
In my senior year of high school, I got the opportunity to do an internship in a 6th grade math class and a 7th grade A.I.S (Academic intervention services) math class. I also have tutored students from 6th grade through 12th grade, in math, English, Spanish and History. Furthermore, I have experience babysitting, specifically children ages 2-5 years old. In college, I have had the opportunity to work hands-on in a Kindergarten classroom at Holy Angels Academy, 1st grade classroom at Orchard, and 2nd grade classroom at Hebrew Academy for a whole semester. I also had a field placement at Liberty Early Elementary School, in a Special-Education pre-school for a semester.
