I am a current Expressive Arts Teacher for the School District of Philadelphia. I teach 6th to 8th grade, but have worked with children ages 5-11 during past work experiences. I am currently pursuing my Masters in Elementary Education. Prior to my current employment I receive my B.A. from Temple University in Film and Media. From 2021-2022 I worked as an after school Teaching Artists at the Portside Arts Center. From 2019-2021 I worked as an assistant after-school teacher with Wonderspring Early Education.
I have extensive experience with caring for multiple children, or varying personalities all at once. I am patient, and take an empathetic approach to childcare, as I am quite aware of how the way I interact with a child impacts their development. I am free weekends during the school year, but have open availability after June 13th. Feel free to contact me for references, or to set up a call!
