I’m looking to babysit, nanny, (and pet sit!) for families in the Philadelphia area. I have a lot of lived experience teaching and caring for kids, as well as some paid experience. I’m a student at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating this December 2020. I major in Urban Studies and minor in Creative Writing. I love writing, art, music, and games, and look forward to creating activities for kids to have fun and learn. I am bilingual, speaking English and Spanish. While I am entering the field and don’t have many paid babysitting references, I do have mentors, professors, and past Supervisors whom I believe can attest to my experience with creating a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. I helped raise my much younger brothers, as well as babysat for younger family members for many years, especially infants and toddlers. I’m attentive to the wisdom and creativity of children, I have a knack for organizing, and a gift for understanding emotions and feelings. I’m patient, responsible, energetic, kind, and flexible with schedule!
