I have 17 years of experience working as a nanny. I have worked with families with newborns, toddlers and pre-teens. I have helped to develop and manage schedules in line with each family’s unique situation. I ensure childrens safety and well-being while engaging them in age-appropriate activities. I prepare healthful meals, assist with light household duties, and provide additional support for parents as needed. I love being able to work with children. Seeing them grow and learn is one of the best parts of being a nanny. I have helped to teach kids how to swim, ride a scooter, write, and play a variety of sports. I also like to let children be children, whether that means playing outside and getting dirty or having a pretend tea party. I do think that it is important to follow the lead of the parents and to be able have open and honest communication with them about their children. Every family has a different way of raising their children and I feel it is my job responsibility to uphold that. I have been very lucky and have been working with the same family for 10 years. I have watched all 3 of their children from an infant to a 10,8 and 5 year old. I have seen these children learn how to crawl to walk to now doing gymnastics. I have set up American Ninja Warrior scenarios to Total Wipe Out with a slip and slide and some other household equipment. We do a lot of reading, art and learning projects.
