I began working as a mother’s helper at eleven, and worked with the family for eight years as their babysitter on weeknights and weekends. Throughout these years, I was able to watch the brother and sister grow up, myself alongside them. Throughout this time, I also worked for other families for smaller babysitting positions that were less frequent.
In recent years, I have worked at summer camps with children ranging in age from six years to twelve. Preparing meals, leading activities, and supervising the children were the main aspects of the position. Bonding with the kids and creating relationships with the families that led to babysitting jobs outside of the camp was a joy.
Currently, I am a full-time student (sophomore) at a fine art academy, majoring in painting! There, I am involved in a high school program, working as a teacher’s assistant. I work alongside the students to assist with technique and basic skills, and answer any questions that may arise. I aim to create a fun and productive work environment for all included.
I am eager to begin working with children again, and hope to find a family that is seeking a consistent, caring, babysitter! There is so much joy in working with children.
