In my most recent nannying experience, I worked with two families. The first family had an infant and a 2-year-old, and I was responsible for feeding, diaper changes, and naptime for the infant, while engaging the toddler in educational activities, such as reading books and playing games. I also assisted with light housekeeping and meal preparation. The second family had two children, ages 7 and 10, and my duties included school pickups, helping with homework, and organizing creative playtime or outdoor activities. I also managed meal prep, ensured a smooth evening routine, and reinforced positive behaviors in collaboration with the parents. Both experiences required flexibility, patience, and a focus on creating a safe, nurturing environment for the children.
My experience has also given me the opportunity to hone a number of abilities, such as time management, problem-solving, and effective communication. Additionally, I’ve finished training in kid CPR and first aid, which has given me the confidence to handle emergencies if necessary along with a clean background that I can provided personally with proof on standby. Together with these abilities, my experience has given me the ability to be a trustworthy and considerate caregiver, promoting the growth and well-being of the kids in my charge.
