My name is Colleen – Im 31 years old and I live in Fishtown with my dog Gonzo. I work full-time from home for a global health non-profit. Im looking to supplement my income with some regular or sporadic babysitting.

I have many years of babysitting for families of all shapes and sizes. I have been a mothers helper to a family of four kids under five, where I helped with meals, laundry and bed-time routines. I have been a temporary live-in nanny for a family of 3 (7, 5, and 3) where I did school pick-up, drove to afterschool activities, prepped and fed dinner, and supported the kids through their bedtime routines. I used to babysit daily for a two year old where we played all day and I supported with diaper changes, potty training, and nap times. I also worked for a family of two middle/high schoolers where I would help with homework and drive to afterschool activities.

I love to develop close relationships with the families I work for. My goal is to fit is seamlessly with the familys routine and make the week easier for busy parents.

A bit more about me: I am originally from Connecticut. I went to Boston University for undergrad where I studied International Relations and medical anthropology. I did my masters in global health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and worked in Madagascar for a year supporting a research project on HIV. I love dogs and reading and I crochet.
