Hi! My name is Casey and I am a graduate student at Thomas Jefferson University getting my masters in Genetic Counseling. I have about 6 years of childcare experience. I worked as a horseback riding instructor for kids ages 3 and up (including children with special needs- diabetes, autism, Down syndrome, and epilepsy) at a barn in Ohio (I did my undergraduate studies at Ohio State). I also worked as a horse camp counselor for 2 summers, leading a group of 4-8 children ages 5-13 through barn chores, fun activities (making ice cream, tie-dying T-shirts, games, etc), and horseback riding lessons. I have also volunteered at Baystate Medical Center in the Pediatric Procedures unit and work with children ages 0-18. I am looking for a supplemental income as I work my way through graduate school. I love hiking, playing sports, and being outside!
