Hello! My name is Anika, and I will be a senior at the University of Pennsylvania in the fall. I am a psychology major, and most of my research work involves children. I intern at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), so I have a lot of experience interacting with children of all ages, from infants to adolescents. (This also means I have already passed a federal background and fingerprinting check!) I have also been a sitter for many years, and all of the kids I have babysat I have formed a really special bond with (and I still talk to so many of them!). It is really special to be able to watch kids grow over the time that I watch them, and I love how imaginative and creative they are. Kids look at the world so much differently than adults do, and it is such a pleasure to be able to see the world from their point of view when I am with them.
