Hi there! I’m a recent Drexel University graduate with a masters degree, currently preparing my applications for medical school. Ive always been passionate about working with children, both personally and professionally.

As an undergraduate, I completed a year-long National Science Foundation research fellowship with the Center for Families and Children. During this time, I focused on child developmentconducting literature reviews, studying recent research and developmental theories, and creating lesson plans for our Play With Me outreach program, based on the CDCs Developmental Milestones guide.

I have years of hands-on experience caring for children of all ages, from newborns to teens, as both a babysitter and tutor. Im also the eldest daughter and cousin in a large family, so caregiving has always come naturally as Ive helped raise and care for my younger sibling and cousins.

In addition to my childcare background, Im a certified EMT and have worked in a Level 1 trauma ER. I also volunteered during the pandemic to help distribute vaccines, and I currently work as a medical scribe in a primary care clinicso Im well-versed in health and safety, especially with children.

I’m a native Spanish speaker (born in Ecuador), and Id be happy to teach your little one(s) the basicslike numbers, the alphabet, or simple words and phrasesif youd like to introduce them to a second language in a fun and gentle way.
