Hello! This is Aliha. I am a Master’s student at PCOM, aspiring to become a pediatrician soon! Therefore, to increase my exposure to working with children outside of the clinic, for the past four years and counting, I have been privately tutoring students who have ranged from ages 0 to 15.

Just to let you know what sort of a person I am, here are a few fun facts about me:
1. I can fluently speak 4 languages and am currently learning my fifth one.
2. I’m a hardcore Harry Potter fan!
3. On a Sunday evening, you’ll probably find me reading a book, reorganizing my bedroom, or writing memoirs of my younger siblings, who I dearly love.

Most importantly, just to give you a little background information on my English Language proficiency, I have worked at Adelphi University’s Learning and Writing Center for four years where I helped undergraduate and graduate students with their essays, papers, and personal statements. Furthermore, apart from privately tutoring middle school and high school students, I have also tutored students for the SATs and the Regents as a part of my university’s pre-college program.

Since I am currently aspiring to become a doctor myself, I have been an extremely focused student since high school who completely understands the importance of succeeding academically and knows the amount of hard work and grit it requires.
