Hi my name is Amber Martinez I am an 18 year old from Paterson New Jersey and I am in my senior year of high school . I have babysat several of my family/ family friends kids and pets . I have baby sat 8 kids in total ( all between the ages of 2-11) and more than a dozen of pets ( including dogs, cats , turtles, and birds) . I love working with kids and teaching them all types of things like life skills or how to do solve a math problem and help them learn to read . Children bring me joy I see myself in every kid I have babysat , and it helps me grow bonds with them and even make myself a comfort space to them where they feel protected and loved. I help/tell the older kids with chores how appreciated it is to help in the house and help them understand the importance of organization and management is in their life and how it will help them when they get older. I change diapers, make formula bottles , I cook, clean , have play time , read books , make sure the bathe and everything in between to make sure they are ready for bed and or when the parent/parents come home. I never raise my voice and would never put my hands on a child I like to practice gentle authorization . I love animals, they bring me joy, and I have a few pets myself . I take them outside for exercise and potty time, can bathe them , make sure their feed and have playtime with them. I am comfortable with any animal.( I dont not have a car , if far I may need transportation services)
